Green Tea Refreshing Mist

Our Rosacea Soothing Mist, now with Vitamin C Esters, is the same product as Green Tea Soothing Mist. This mist is excellent for all skin types, but people who do not suffer from rosacea may prefer a product without that label. For this reason, the product has a dual name.

This unique spray is formulated with a high percentage of green tea, a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that has been shown to reduce facial redness and inflammation associated with rosacea. Green tea also helps reduce signs of skin aging and protects the skin from melanoma and other skin cancers. The formula also contains vitamin E and aloe vera, a rich emollient with hundreds of beneficial enzymes and vitamins that promote skin healing through effective cellular renewal.

Green Tea Profile:
Antioxidant green tea (Camellia sinensis) extracts have been shown by researchers at the University of Alabama Medical School and Rutgers University to reduce skin cancer. When applied after prolonged UV exposure, green tea antioxidants (epigallocatechin gallate and caffeine) reduced squamous cell tumor formation by 60 to 70%. Our Green Tea Soothing Mist contains high levels of green tea extracts for use during and after UV exposure.

Benefits of Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera gel accelerates healing and regrowth of damaged skin, a classical treatment for reducing sun damage caused by sunburn.

Glycerin:
Glycerin maintains the epidermal barrier, helping retain moisture.

Green Tea:
Green tea antioxidants penetrate the epidermis to combat long-term damage caused by UV exposure.

Clinical Testing:
Double-blind clinical testing of this formula revealed a moisturizing increase of 20% to 45% when used after sun exposure, along with a reported sensation of relief and a cooling effect.
